Charity Advertising
turn your good intentions into amazing actions
One person really can make a difference. Especially when they have a company like Updraft amplifying their efforts. Digital advertising and non-profits are a great match. We can help your great cause in the following ways…
- Event Advertising - In case anyone didn't notice event awareness has found a home on Facebook. There's a handful of important elements to a great Facebook event campaign. First is targeting. We could upload your existing donor base, we could create "lookalike" audiences to pull in fresh donors who identify with your cause. We can even use voter registration/party affiliation lists. It's all in play and it all works. Beyond that, it's all about frequency of updates. Once a user has clicked that "interested" button, they basically opted in to all event notifications. Make sure there is a steady stream of fresh content getting posted to the event to maximize your return.
- Client and Volunteer Recruiting - Again, this would be primarily via Facebook, but there could also be some Google Ads mixed in for the direct searches of a charity. Facebook can be used to both market to potential clients of a charity through branding campaigns, as well as to potential volunteers. In addition, awareness campaigns can be run to do just that, bring awareness to an issue worth talking about.
- Soliciting Donations - This can be very effective, but must be approached a little more carefully. For example, one can't just post a bunch of ads asking for donations and expect the cash register to pop open. It needs to be more of a conventional sales funnel approach. Show a series of ads in a variety of formats to warm audiences to your cause. As a prospect "travels" from the large top of the funnel with more broad targeting and messaging they are continually educated on the cause. The audience shrinks in size but the potential for donation increases. This type of approach could play out over a matter of a few days or possibly over a matter of months or even years.
